I've decided that every Thursday will be Vintage Thursday!

This is my selection for the week of vintage goodies available to buy online!

Melody Maison

Country Kitchen Dresser/Plate Rack
Found at www.melodymaison.co.uk (ALL mainland UK deliveries for just £4.95)
A steal at £153.95

This would look beautiful in any country or shaker style kitchen. This has been given a gorgeous distressed look with grey/duck egg blue paint.

6 Drawer Tallboy Chest of Drawers
Found at www.melodymaison.co.uk (ALL mainland UK deliveries for £4.95!)

£244.95

This gorgeous distressed look french style chest of drawers would look lovely in any bedroom. It's very unusual in that it has 6 drawers and will give some French elegance to any home. It is painted cream and will be delivered fully assembled.

Peg Memo Board
Found at www.melodymaison.co.uk (ALL mainland UK deliveries for £4.95!)

£19.95

This is exactly what every household needs! It's lovely and would fit in very well with a family house. Again my two favourites, beautiful and useful! Chalks and Pegs included with this purchase.

White Display Cabinet

Found at www.melodymaison.co.uk (ALL mainland UK deliveries for £4.95!)

£289.95

This French Style cabinet/book case is so lovely, it's been painted to a great matte white finish and although it's been called a book case/display cabinet I would use it in my Bathroom, infact I have a wider version in my bathroom now!

That's just a few from this website but these are the pieces that caught my eye straight away! There are plenty more large pieces of furniture as well as smaller items and even garden accessories so check it all out at www.melodymaison.co.uk you won't regret it!

Vintage Living

'La Mouette' Clock

Found at www.vintageliving.co.uk

£36.99

This is one of the nicest vintage clocks I've seen. I'd put it in my bathroom for that slightly nautical edge.

Vintage Attic

4 Frame Vintage Style Photo Frame

Found at www.vintageattic.co.uk

£14.99

Okay, so this isn't actually old it is infact vintage style but it just goes to show how lovely and authentic new reproduction items can look. I love the trend at the moment with mixing up different frames and pictures on a wall and this is following that perfectly! Plus this is easier as you don't have to search around for lots of different frames, you're getting 4 in 1!

Elemental Antiques

Upcycled Drawers in a recycled carcass.

Found at http://www.elemental.uk.com

Price on request (or available for members)

1920's Vintage Kitchen Cabinet

Found at www.elemental.uk.com

Price on request (or available for members)

This has been mounted on legs and is available as a pair. This is a great example of the current metals trend with old school lockers etc. I love this look and the paint work is brilliant on this piece.

Coffee Table

Found at www.elemental.uk.com

Price on request (or available to members)

Although the table itself isn't vintage it was constructed purposely to house these 15 vintage boxes.

1920's French Industrial Cabinet.

Found at www.elemental.uk.com

Price on request (or available to members)

This has been carefull restored for modern day use and put on casters. This would look ideal in loft conversions and/or against exposed brickwork.

Polished Steel Security Cabinet

Found at www.elemental.uk.com

Price on request (or available to members)

I absolutely adore this and like the previous piece this would look perfect against exposed brick work or even in a modern white kitchen. I love the different colours inside and the way that the doors can be opened individually or en masse. This is from the 1960's and is British.

Again there are many more beautiful bespoke items on their website so if there isn't something you like that I've posted there may well be something else to your taste advertised on the site so definitely check out www.elemental.uk.com!

Love Vintage Furniture

 1950's Danish Suite

Found at www.lovevintagefurniture.com

Sofa - £2850
Chair - £899
2 Sofas and 1 Chair available

I think this is my favourite vintage item this week. My favourite colour combination is dark grey and lime green so this would suit my taste perfectly! This company has completely transformed these 60 year old chairs into something modern and really quite beautiful. It may be expensive but they've survived 60 years, who's to say they won't survive another 60?!

Fade Interiors

Console Table

Found at www.fadeinteriors.co.uk

£425

This would look lovely as a side table in a big hallway with nice rich wood flooring like in this photo.

French Bedside Tables
Found at www.fadeinteriors.co.uk

£375

These really would suit any bedroom, especially one with white furniture of a similar age and style.

Custom Chic Restoration Service

Although these specific items may not be for sale Olli can restore and repaint any piece of wooden furniture in a matte or shabby chic style. You can find him at  Custom Chic Handcrafted Furniture Restoration. He can quote you on any piece that you may have that is tired or dreary and needs sprucing up!

These are a few examples of his work.
